Reuben Kaye: The Butch is Back - Edinburgh Fringe 2023

We had the wonderful opportunity to capture some images from Reuben Kaye’s fringe show this year. With nearly front-row seats, we got some beautiful and dynamic pictures of the fantastic cabaret artist doing what he does best. Embarking on a European tour throughout the latter half of 2023, you can book tickets to see him on his website. This show is a must-see, from us.

With lighting not too dissimilar to our ASTER shoot, for this session, we explored lens filters and colors. We felt we needed to amp up the rainbow power and create shapes to complement the performer. It really was a joyful and awesome chance to capture such a bright, playful, and interesting show.
